MAP (Make Anything Possible) is an evidence-informed neuro-modality adapted from Process Healing. It is designed to gently, safely, and efficiently reprocess and rewire long-standing distressing memories stored in the nervous system.

The MAP Method™ is highly effective in addressing subconscious blocks by resolving the underlying memories that sustain fears, unresolved emotional responses, and limiting belief patterns. By working directly with neural pathways, MAP supports lasting change rather than temporary symptom relief. Clients often report increased emotional regulation, cognitive clarity, and an expanded capacity to make intentional choices aligned with their goals.

MAP is a non-invasive, deeply relaxing modality that does not require verbal disclosure of personal experiences. Clients simply bring a specific topic or issue to mind while the guided process facilitates neurological integration. Once processing is complete, the memory remains accessible but is no longer associated with emotional reactivity or maladaptive beliefs, indicating successful neural reconsolidation.

As integration stabilizes, individuals typically experience improved clarity, reduced internal resistance, and greater ease in goal attainment. MAP is among the most gentle and effective modalities offered at The WAYStation, supporting sustainable transformation with minimal cognitive or emotional strain. Outcomes may be explored further in the Journeys of Transformation section below.

Journeys of Transformation

FZ

Counseling with Monica has given me a safe space to heal in a way that felt natural, loving and deeply transformative. I came in for MAP sessions looking for clarity, but I received so much more! I walked away feeling lighter, clearer, and more aligned with my authentic self. The process felt gentle, yet very powerful. It helped access layers of trauma I didn't have the tools to access on my own. I'm incredibly grateful for this journey, and the healing I've received.

I have received counseling and body work at The WAYStation over the past 7 years and it was life saving. As I embarked on a journey of healing, Monica supported me with EMDR and Acudetox. I ended up going through a really hard season. Monica was there to help me through the breakdown of my marriage and a really brutal divorce. I have recently experienced MAP with Monica and really enjoyed the experience. While EMDR was extremely helpful in working through the trauma, it was taxing emotionally and I was very drained after the sessions. However, I was able to complete a MAP session on my lunch break and return to work right after feeling less anxious and very clear.

Thank you, Ms. Monica, for being such an important part of my journey. My words and gratitude for you pale in comparison to the huge role you played in my life. You helped me heal from the inside out. When I thought I was finished, you helped me to face my pain and struggles, and to learn and grow from them. You taught me how to put in the work and get back up again. Courage, resilience, and strength are characteristics you helped me uncover: things I NEVER knew I had. My worst mistake has turned out to be my greatest teacher because of you.

Monica, thank you so so much for the reflexology treatment yesterday! Not only did my feet feel better, I had some amazing energy! I was so relaxed while you worked on my feet, but when I left, I was able to clean that night with gusto! I was also thrilled that my feet were not tired and my Morton's Neuroma did not bother me at all!! God is so good! I love how connected our body is. I can't wait for the next treatment!

Ms. Monica Robertson is absolutely wonderful in the field of premarital counseling. During the six sessions with me and my fiancé, we grew closer together through her compassionate guidance using the Art of Marriage program. She displayed no bias towards male or female when giving advice towards any disagreements between us. Therefore, we feel she is very fair towards those with whom she counsels. It meant a lot to us to receive unbaised guidance along with being charged on a sliding fee scale that worked within our budget. Lastly, because she applies Biblical principals to her own life, loving others, and teaching and because she uses great examples to share from her own marriage and family; it is very positive and appealing to those who observe her life and benefit from her counsel.  We love Ms. Monica!

Thank you

MAP sessions are so impactful. They changed the trajectory of a major life crisis that I was going through. I highly recommend them for dealing with all forms of trauma, especially when it leads to a place of being stuck or trapped.

I started counseling as a broken woman who was running from a past that she wanted to forget. Monica showed me that there is freedom in Christ, if you just allow yourself to walk in grace. As the weights of the past fell off, I began to see a beautiful young woman emerge.  I cannot thank Monica enough for helping unlock the beauty and strength I have within. Sometimes it takes pulling apart the puzzle to really put the pieces back together again.  I don't know where I would be without the passionate, Christ-filled, non-judgmental counseling I received. I am truly blessed and know that Monica is helping people walk into their healing and victory one step at a time.

I am so thankful for Monica's godly wisdom. After receiving MAP sessions and counseling, I have moved from deep depression and anxiety to enjoying the blessings God has provided for me. There are still difficult circumstances in my life, but Monica has given me tools to work through them. I'm thankful God led me to The WAYStation.

Going to The WAYStation was the most important part of my healing journey. I was struggling with things that I never knew were related to my past. While going to The WAYStation I learned to not only face my fears in the present but to deal with the root of my fears in the past. I learned healthy coping strategies that I still use to this day. For example, I struggled with bulemia for so long that my body became accustomed to it. I struggled for years to stop. Ms. Monica taught me strategies to help me regulate my nervous system, and relax. It has now been over a year since I threw up. My experience at The WAYStation didn't just help me through my everyday struggles, but helped me resolve and become free from painful memories of my childhood. Finally, Ms. Monica helped me to understand how to let the Lord heal my heart, and helped me to see where He was and is still working in my life.

Monica Robertson, Ph.D., LMT, ADS, RCR

From the moment I discovered my calling, my journey through education, training, and hands-on practice has been a profound adventure guided by God. He has opened doors I could not have opened on my own and has equipped me to help others discover their purpose, overcome obstacles, and move in the direction of embodying and enjoying a healthier version of their self.

Rooted in my own healing journey, my education and work has been focused on understanding how the body, mind, and spirit function together in both brokenness and restored wholeness. Over the years, I have walked alongside individuals in some of life’s most complex and painful circumstances, which has deepened my compassion and strengthened my commitment to facilitate healing with wisdom and care.

This calling has led me to advanced training in a wide range of trauma-informed and somatic modalities, including EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Neurofeedback, Aroma Freedom, Emotional Freedom Techniques, nervous system regulation, Equine Therapy, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, and Process Healing through MAP.  I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve a diverse global community and to come alongside others on their journey to their best life!
